Used Motorhomes - Plenty of Choice?

There are vans and options available for every size of purse, so you first need to identify what your exact requirements are.
As you know, motorhomes are divided into three main categories, referred to as classes A,B and C. A-Class Motorhomes, which include all motorhomes that are coach shaped, where the smooth lined body is added to a bare chassis cowl. B-Class Motorhomes, also known as campervans, which are panel vans (e.g. Transit vans) fitted out as motorhomes. C-Class Motorhomes, the result of a chassis cab conversion with specially built caravan body mounted.

Campervan models often use much of the bodywork of the manufacturers base van. The interior fittings and roof are then added to give you that all-important extra headroom. The roof can be an aerodynamically styled solid high-top made of insulated GRP, or an elevating roof. The latter offers marginally less insulation and strorage but means you have a normal low roof van while driving. A camper van is also a good choice if it's going to double-up for everyday use when you're back home.
Once you have identified what exactly you need, you are in a position to begin your research into costs.
